I found yours of the 15 th inst, on my
desk on try return. Jos. Pierson has apparently been
well since his return, not complaining of any ills
of any kind.
I never say anything to him about it, as
I want him to forget it; but from observation,, he is
doing nicely.

On his return here, he gave me to understand
that you had taken up the matter of having him reimbursed
for the expenses he had previous to you looking after
him. I would thank you to let me know what success you
are having in this regard if any.
We are having an old fashioned winter here,
quite cold and lots of snow and quiet times in all lines
of business.
