asbestos fibers to which any employee may be exposed shall not exceed two fibers longer than 5 micrometers per cubic centimeter of air No employee shall be exposed at any time to
airborne concentrations of asbestos fibers in excess of 10
fibers longer than 5 micrometers per cubic centimeter of air
OSHA exposure limits effective July 1 1976
The fibers this product are bound in the polymer matrix at the time of shipment Release of unbound asbestos over the permissible exposure limit is unlikely unless the material is subject to rough handling
The grinding and machining of parts molded of asbestos containing materials is likely to liberate free fiber Local exhausts should
be used for all such operations Use EPA approved dust collection
in equipment and dispose of the collected material an approved
landfill in accordance with federal state and local regulations
