I think the action to be taken by Monsanto will vary at our different locations. For example, in Springfield it would seem that little more need be done than re-X-raying our present PVC workers at either 6 or 12 month intervals. In Spain, I believe nothing should be done except to have our plant physician cognizant of the problem so he can pay special attention to the hands on physical examinations. In view of the inaccessibility of X-ray equipment, this seems the only sensible thing to do. I will discuss Montreal with the plant management on my next visit.
