Brora: No one feels worse than I over the delay in maing a final report on our studies in. asbentosis, but I could not foresee a car and what it would do to my staff and the obligations placed upon me. Ur. Rohrbach's suggestion that I present a brief state ment of our conclusions in advance of a completed report is entirely logical, but, obviously, it will be necessary for me to review all of the large amount of experimental data that we have accumulated before I can do even this. Uy ora mind is fairly well made up about the significance of our work at the present time; nev'ertheless, I should verify these im pressions by review of our material. I earnestly hope that it may be possible for me to do this during the coning winter. On completion of the review, I will make every effort to send you copies of such a statement for distribution to the members of the asbestos industry who have contributed to the support of the work.
