Keller and Heckman 1150 17th Street, NW Washington, D. C. 20036 Dear Peter: This is in response to your letter of October 31 relating to Vinyl Institute Affiliate Membership. As we discussed in Chicago on Tuesday, I would like to have the affiliate member class broken down as follows: Affiliate Member - Class A - Affiliate membership-Class A shall be open to any member company that fabricates PVC products by such methods as extrusion, calendering and molding. Affiliate Member - Class B - Affiliate membership-Class B shall be open to any company that manufactures adjuvants or other raw materials that are used in fabrication and compounding of PVC such as plasticizers, stabilizers, lubricants, fillers and processing aids. As I mentioned to you, I would prefer to have these two classes of affiliate membership as this will allow us greater flexibility in establishing sepa rate membership fees for these two categories. I believe that this will be necessary in order to attract members in both of these groups. With these changes, could you please have the proposed amendment reworked and provided to me fairly promptly so that it can be on the Agenda for the December 6 Board Meeting. Thank you for your help.
