The ore undergoes a carefu l purifying p ro cess w hich includes a 36-step w ashing p ro cess to m axim ize its content of high lubricity platy ta lc and to rem ove or substantially reduce any tra c e s of fibrous m in e ra ls w hich m ay be p re se n t in the unrefined o re . The resu ltin g talc has been shown by th ree independent consulting la b o ra to ries* to contain negligible tra c e s of fibrous m in erals and no chrysotile fibers.
