Remarks: Study utilizeadBOchi MeltingPointB-540 instrument, calibratedand inspectedjustpriortouse usinganthraquinoneand 1,8naphthalimide.
RESULTS
Melting pointvalue in*C: >4000C (No meltingobserved). Decomposition (yes-temperatureOC/ no /ambiguous): No Sublimation (yes/no/ambiguous): No
Remarks: Measurements ofthe meltingpoint/meltingrange were limitedto :54000C,the maximum specificatiofnorthe instrumentused. Fine dropletswere notobserved toadhere uniformlyorotherwisetothe wallsofthe meltingpointtubes.
CONCLUSIONS
The meltingpoint/meltingrange was notobserved and thereforecould not be determined.
Remarks: While no meltingofthe testsubstance was evident, discoloratioonfthe testsamples was observed. The whitepowder turned toa lightbrown and eventuallyblackas temperaturesrose.

Subsamples of the testsubstancewere heatedin a meltingpointtube in a temperaturecontrolledheatingblork.
