Flow cal culations and velometer readings being gathered on same. There are approx imately fifty points being analyzed in Homopolymer/Copolymer area alone. Completion of results to be by 10/17/75. Following week analysis of VCM concentration and flow to start in plastisol area. Expected completion by 10/13/75. Vendor already preparing preliminary layout for above results. Drawings for approval to be issued by 11/14/75. Review and comments to take place during week of 11/21/75. Estimate tentatively will be by 11/28/75. DEI-501 - Compressor Area Isolation Preliminary arrangement of compressor isolation to be issued by 10/15/75. Review and comments to be complete by 10/22/75, Final drawings for bidding by 10/29/75. Estimate to be by 11/12/75. This is for homopolymer area only. Copolymer area to follow by one week later. Compressor Sealing Review held with Plant Maintenance as to future improvements contemplated. Discussion to be held with packing supplier as to possible improvements or redesign of seal. Review with plant operating personnel contemplated to determine possible improvement in carryover of product into compressor. This causes excessive build-up in piston and reduction in compressor on stream time. DEI-559 - Latex Tank Isolation Preliminary investigation and engineering to start on 10/15/75. Drawings for comment and approval to be issued on 10/29/75. Estimate will be complete by 11/14/75. DEI-503 - Plastisol Dryer Stack Extension Design and drawing to be issued by 11/14/75.
