Vista contracted with a toxicologist with expertise in the area of inhalation toxicology to review the scientific literature on alumina, our existing alumina toxicity data, and recommend what testing might be done to evaluate the irritancy potential of our alumina. In summary the consultant has advised that additional testing be done and is currently preparing a detailed recommendation for testing to evaluate the irritation and sensitization properties of our CATAPAL Alumina. We expect to receive this report in 2-3 weeks, the testing is anticipated to take 3-4 months to complete. The test results will be evaluated to determine if a lower permissible exposure limit is necessary for Vista Alumina and if handling procedures need further refinements.
