The mortality experience of individuals occupationally exposed to vinyl chloride and lesser amounts of vinylidene chloride was studied
Employees were grouped into four exposure categories (high, intermed
low, unmeasured ) according to highest level of vinyl chloride
exposure experienced for at least one month.

1941 - small copolymer plant 4 operators, 2 miller-packers, 1 foreman, 1 superintendent
Late 1940's - 2 asst, operators added, larger dept, with more operating, clerical and supervisory personnel
Late 1940's - smaller unit to produce VCM and copolymer semiplant were operated
1952 - outdoor homopolymer (PVC) and copolymer plant built
Third copolymer unit begun
1969 - PVC production discontinued . Facitities were used to modernize copolymer production. Plant built in 1941 closed.
