Division Headquarters March 7, 1962 * PLAINTIFFS j EXHIBIT 1 jMMC-357 K. J. Whalen - Denison Plant cc: W. L. VanDerbeek File 6/0-4-2 To be noted by: G. C. Eggleston Industrial Hygiene - Manual of Standard Practices - IH-98 Your Letter to W. L. VanDerbeed dated 2/20/62 As requested by Gil Eggleston, I have discussed the points raised in the subject letter with Cliff Sheckler. Since his verbal recommendations involve certain policy revisions, I have asked him to put them in written form so that I can discuss the situation with W. L. VanDerbeek upon his return from the west coast. I will keep you advised of all developments. One thing is definite, however. Sheckler advises that samples taken by the Texas Employers' Insurance Association are not acceptable. Therefore, there is no need for Denison to continue to pursue this possibility.
