To ensure that the appropriate individual within the Department of Energy is participating in your event and because the Office of the Secretary is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards, we need the information requested below before we can agree to confirm a speaker. With Texas as the backdrop, this is an ideal platform to showcase U.S. energy policy leadership on the national stage, while also providing Secretary Wright an opportunity to highlight his vision for the future of energy. We believe his keynote address would not only enhance the event but also reinforce the critical conversations around the role of policy in shaping the future of energy. If not, please describe who is privately invited. Our annual conference is offered to USAEE members, but non-members can attend at a higher cost. A teleprompter is not currently planned (but could be discussed if required) Ordinarily the event is closed to press, unless a USAEE member comes from an industry source that covers the meeting. Flexible to your office's requirements, but USAEE does have members from nationwide consultancies that .ublish re i orts based on indust meetin s. Generally not open to media outlets. Again, we can invite local and nationwide media if desired, but that's not USAEE's norm. We will promote the event beforehand on social media, including Linkedln, X, and USAEE's website. There will not be livestreaming. Logistics/Other* If this invitation includes any gifts to the Secretary (e.g., waived registration/conference event fee; meals or refreshments; receptions or other entertainment; informational materials; award; transportation; memento or token of appreciation), please identify them and provide their monetary value. Please also identify how the value was determined. (Please attach separate sheet if necessary.) For speakers that attend only for their day of speaking, the conference registration fee is waived.
