Governor Scott Recognizes VetCor with Governor's Business Ambassador Award
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Today, during a meeting of the Florida Cabinet, Governor Rick Scott recognized Tampa-based business VetCor with the Governor's Business Ambassador Award. VetCor is a restoration company specializing in water damage mitigation and is a veteran-owned business that currently employs 20 Florida veterans.
Governor Scott said, "I'm proud to recognize Paul with the Business Ambassador Award today. As a veteran myself, it's great to see a veteran owned business succeed here in Florida. We are thankful for Paul's service and will continue to ensure that Florida is the most veteran and military friendly state in the nation."

VetCor is one of many businesses that have received assistance with hiring and training 10 employees through Veterans Florida's Employment and Training Services program.
Veterans Florida is a non-profit corporation created by the State of Florida to help veterans fully transition to civilian life in the Sunshine State. They connect veterans to employers, grant funds to employers to hire and train veterans, and educate veterans on how to open their own businesses in Florida.
