This will be the last issue associated with this project's design phase. 5.2 Control Building Construction Interior wall construction will continue the week of October 22nd. The HVAC and fire suppression systems will be tested within the next two weeks. Interior lighting and the fire detection system are complete. A building punch list should be generated the week of October 22nd. 5.3 Phase I Electrical All work completed. 15.1 ABB Software Development The application software was demonstrated during the factory acceptance test, September 24th. Minor modifications are in progress and the product will be shipped together with the VAX and MOD 300 equipment. 29.1 Generator Building The generator was installed the week of October 15th. Electrical work will proceed pending construction of the building. 32.1 Phase 2 Instrument/Electrical Construction The Phase 2 contract has been awarded to A&B Electric. They will begin work November 5th. 36.1 Fresh Air Stack Field work is projected to begin the week of October 22nd. 36.2 Junction Box Replacement Eight junction boxes have beenrewired or replaced in the last seven weeks. Additional box replacements will necessitate multiple equipment or common equipment outages for short periods. (Example - 2 reactors for 12 hours). PEM.299 ABD00217090 Configuration and Programming TCL programming and program reviews are in progress. A detailed program development schedule now exists for all software tasks. Procurement Phase 2 electrical equipment will arrive the week of November 5th. The Phase 2 MOD 300 system is projected to arrive in Aberdeen the week of November 12th. Schedule The fresh air stack system was scheduled for completion November 10th. This will not occur. A revised completion date will be established. This may affect the overall project schedule if corrective action is not taken. The Phase 2 Instrument/Electrical construction becomes the critical construction path upon building completion. The project team will make the necessary resources available to insure this work proceeds as scheduled. Cost Certain predicted totals have been adjusted to reflect construction contracts or equipment purchases. In the last month mechanical subcontracts and the emergency generator categories were adjusted by +$30,000 and -$21,000 respectively. MOD 300 Maintenance Within the next month the plant will commence a two year maintenance agreement with ABB for the Aberdeen MOD 300 system. This includes: Six months of resident maintenance Eight hour response for service calls Monthly preventative maintenance calls Unlimited emergency calls out System help line PEM.299
