In offering these comments I would request that they be viewed in the context of suggestions only;, In general, I feel the existing Standard is adequate and as such I would not want my comments to delay the completicn of this update. flout- It is my understanding that all Standards when revised are incorporating metric equivalents, as such these equivalents should-be incorporated into this Standard. <55z> Section 2.2-1 believe this Section should be expanded to include storage requirements for ,, ruhhftr rings and stackinglimitationsand pre/ cautions for pipe storage. $ 31 & Section 3.3-1 believe this Section could be expanded to include a discussion on pipe assembly, if such techniques do not vary frcm one manu facturer to another. This comment would also apply to allowable pipe joint deflections. Section 6-1 believe the following wordage change is warranted "existing system shall be flushed and disinfected in accordance with AWWA C601,". . In reviewing other installation standards, I have noted that C600 has a separate section on service taps. Although this subject may be quite controversial, I believe consideration should be given to the addition of such a section.
