Ben Leach has indicated to CMA that Uniroyal Chemical will bear its share of the costs for this study. I am still listed as a member of the overall Program Panel for this study (Phase VIII) and as a member of the smaller V.C. Research Coordinators group. On one hand we are no longer in the V.C. business but on the other, this phase will be con cerned with workers who were exposed to V.C. prior to 1974 so will include our Painesville plant workers. Unless advised otherwise by April 1st, I will continue to serve on this committee since V.C. presents one of the best opportunities we will ever have to study the long term effects of a large volume industrial carcinogen.
