1095 Straight Bull's-Eyes
I TOWARD Burks, sixteen-year-old Frc'.no (California) High School
cader, smashed all schoolboy records recently when he placed 1095 consecuiive shots in a one and one-eighth inch bull's-eye at 50 teet.
Burks began shooting at 7-50 A. M. and, wirh the exception of nine minutes for lunch, rang up bull's-eyes steadily until 4:50 P. M. His equipment was a .22 Springfield riile and US .22 N.R.A. long-rifle cartridges.
Burks' record, besides being a re markable achievement for a schoolboy, is positive proof of the uniformity and dependability of US .22 N. R. A's.
