Worth Region Office of the Texas Air Control Board (TACB) visited the Denison plant. His ostensible purpose was to perform a routine annual inspection; however, he did not want to see the entire plant. I updated the TACB's plant process and operation description. Afterward, I accompanied Mr. Sandel to the Bettenfeld shop, the railcar unloading location, the Perma-Loc shop, and the A/C scrap dump. He specifically requested these areas. There are three areas of potential liability. Two Battenfelds were operating with no dust collection as required by permit exemption. Also, construction had begun on the railcar unloading facilities without a permit exemption or construction permit. The existing scrap dumps were not registered.
