Continental 9%X __ ______ ___ We regret to advise you that the County Attorney has refused to alter into any stipulation to the effect that lead-blending beyond the terminal is not practical. For this reason we are compelled to ask Dr. Kehoe to come to St.`Paul as a witness. While trial is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 19th, Dr. Kehoe may defer his coming until the following day or even untilThuisday, the 21st, if this would be more convenient. We shall try in every way possible so to arrange matters that he need not be in St. Paul more than one day, but we are unable to give a definite promise to this effect. We assume that Dr. Kehoe has been made acquainted with the point we wish to cover with his testimony. While a somewhat detailed statement was made in our letter to you of April 2nd, what we wish by him to show,as indicated above, is that It is not practical to do lead-blending at numerous bulk plants, each of than,with a few exceptions, of Individual task capacities not exceeding 30,000 gallons. It would be very helpful to us and also would tend to shorten Dr* Kehoe*a stay in St. Paul if he could supply us with a statement of what he can testify to in respect of the foregoing point.
