Samantha, Ryan:
I'm sony about the email exchange below. I've spoken with Mr. Messinger and let him know the agency can't act on his specific request. There's nothing else to do on your end.
Apologies again and have a great week.

Samantha,
Thank you for meeting with the NAM group yesterday, and agreeing to listen to our various issues.
In short, my company, Power Curbers Inc., has a serious issue with a regulation at EPA that removes the allowances for diesel engines we earned from the EPA if we sell our business to another machinery manufacturer. This would put us out of business because it would take us 4-6 months to engineer the newer diesel engines, and the cost of those are almost double what we pay for a diesel engine now (from $15k to $33kl). This is a complicated issue to put into a short e mail, but I have attached the correspondence I have had with EPA up to this point.
Please have someone look into this, and tell Administrator Pruitt about how unfair this is for our company, and any other company in the same situation. If you ask me what I want, knowing that a change in regulations is a long term solution, I would say give us a `hardship' allowance that would allow us to keep or engine allowances in an acquisition.
Best Regards,
Dyke Messinger
