Duhl Mr. Duhl: . , Subject: Non-Asbestos Facings on Remanufactured Clutches John Aldrich asked that I confirm our plans for the use of non asbestos facings in our remanufactured clutches. He currently have engineering tests scheduled for early July that could, if passed, allow us to offer non-asbestos in this product by late summer or early fall. He feel, however, that we will have this product developed and tested no later than December of this year. It is our intention to no longer offer asbestos material as of January, 1984. As with any project, these dates could slip, however, this is a very important project to us and I feel we will be close to the early fall time period.
