Vernon October 14, 1976 Meeting Announcement - EPA VCM Emission Control Standard The recipients of this IOC are invited to attend a meeting on Tuesday, October 26 at 8:00 a.m. in conference room 1905 to pian further Conoco Chemicals' response to the EPA VCM emission standard. The objective of the meeting will be to determine Conoco Chemicals1 preferred course of action for the VCM Plant based on the best information we have now. Additionally, we must determine what if any changes should be made to the proposed 1977 Capital Budget. The meeting will begin with short presentations which will serve as a basis for further discussion. These are: - EPA's compliance guidelines - what v/ill they require - D. A. Kuhn - Legal requirements under the Clean Air Act - A. E. Hodges - Control strategies based on EPA's requirements - R. G. Gantz - Best VCM Plant options to comply with EPA requirements - J. A. DeBernard - Economic impact of these strategies on the business area - W. B. Carter The meeting will be informal. Those assigned topics or their delegates may find they only need to lead the discussion of their assigned topic.
