Dear Mr. Neal:
We wish to thank you for the opportunity to visit your plant and conduct the preliminary and In-depth NIOSH vinyl chloride surveys. I also wish to thank you for the cooperation and courtesy extended to me by all of your personnel during the in-depth survey.
The charcoal tube analysis data obtained from your company will provide NIOSH with important baseline data for their present and future research programs and the upgrading of present vinyl chloride standards.
A copy of the charcoal tube analysis data obtained from the in-depth survey performed at your company Is attached for your records.
The survey made using the carbon tube sampling method followed the procedures set forth in the NIOSH Vinyl Chloride Supplement to P&CAM #127 dated 31 May 1974, with the exceptions that Poropak type QS at 100* C and 0.4 percent Carbowax 1500 on Carbopak A at 50* C were used as the chromatograph column materials. The change In column materials was made In agreement with the NIOSH laboratory personnel In Cincinnati, Ohio.
Any conments you may wish to make pertaining to the data will be appreciated and will be Included In the survey report we will make to NIOSH.
If I can be of further service in any way, please contact me.
Yours very truly
