Gentlemen I have been asked by the talc group to write you and request that you prepare and have ready for shipment representative samples of at least five pounds each of your crude ore or ores if you have different types as well as of your major talc products As you will see from the copy of the minutes you will receive from Alan Dankworth of Engelhard several company representatives indicated the possibility of cooperating in gathering extensive mineralogical data on the different talc ores for use in our dealings with the authoritieisn Washington and in the various states in connection with health and safety and environmental regulations It is agreed that the data developed from these samples will be open to all the members of the talc group who contribute to it financially It is further agreed that this data will not be available to anyone else without written permission from the particular company involved if Portions of the samples needed by others in the group for testing not available at the above two laboratories would be the particular company laboratory in question under the same mineralogical sent to conditions The above can be discussed further at our next meeting schedulfeodr June 15th at 10 A.M. in the Vanderbilt offices Sincerely yours ReDacos ReDacos ReDacos ReDacos ReDacos R.
