I have no particular preference for a convention city for the 1944 meeting, but feel that St. Louis is probably as good a choice as any. If the sentiment is in the direction of St. Louis, then I am sore that there will be no difficulty in persuading the Executive Committee of the Governmental Conference accordingly. Tou may therefore record me as an officer of both the Governmental Conference and the American Industrial Hygiene Association as favoring St. Iouis for next year's meeting if that seems to he the desire on the part of some of the other ofjfic6rs, especially those in the American Aaaociation of Industrial Physicians and Surgeons.
