Upon motion, the following applications for appropri ations were duly approved. $ 2,661.25: Contribution; Membership Subscription to Lead Industries Association, including Health and Safety, from July 1 to September 30, 1959. Baroid Division 4,981.00: Overexpenditure, Expansion of Bulk Baroid Plant, Abbeville, Louisiana - Expiration Date September 30, 1959. 14,830.00: Purchase of two 1959 Chevrolet Trucks, Houma and Thibodaux, Louisiana (Old units will be traded in for allowance of $720. each) Expiration Date - August 31, 1959. 73,090.00: Purchase of ten Fork Lift Trucks, East and West Louisiana Areas (Old units will be traded in for allowance of $12,800.) - Expiration Date October 31, 1959. Doehler-Jarvis Division 44,637.00: Replacement of Crabs on 1250-Ton Machines, Toledo #2 Plant, Ohio (Balance of crabs totaling about 15 tons of steel will be sold for scrap) - Expiration Date - September 30, 1959. 147,614.00: Installation of #26 Casting Machine, Toledo #2 Plant, Ohio - Expiration Date - November 30, 1959. 11,811.00: Installation of Pits for two Casting Machines, Toledo #2 Plant, Ohio - Expiration Date September 30, 1959. 14,777.35: General Office; Services and Expenses (not previ ously approved under date of February 20, 1957) of Lybrand, Ross Bros. & Montgomery in connection with auditing and accounting of National Lead Company and affiliates for the year 1958 Services - $9,850.00; Expenses - $4,927.35. EK-3235 (EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE - JULY 1, 1959) $ 1,618.00: St. Louis Branch; Overexpenditure, Painting of Buildings and Tanks, St. Louis Lead & Oil Works, St. Louis, Missouri. 300.00: Titanium Division - MacIntyre Development; Purchase of "Liberty Parcel" for Railroad Right-of-Way. 10,970.00: Titanium Division - St. Louis Plant; Installation of two Soot Blowers for Nos. 8 and 9 Boilers Expiration Date - December 31, 1959. Titanium Division - Sayreville Plant 9,680.00: Annual Repairs to Ship Unloading Tower - Ex piration Date - November 30, 1959. 7,224.00: Repairs to No. 1 Mud Filter - Expiration Date - September 30, 1959. The Committee ratified and approved the purchase for the sum of $301,127.09, of $300,000 Harrisburgh, Pa. Preliminary Loan Notes due September 25, 1959 at a tax exempt yield of 2.007o. The Committee ratified and approved the purchase for the sum of $2,000,890.76, of $2,000,000 - Boston, Massachusetts 2.33% Temporary Notes dated July 1, 1959 and due November 5, 1959 @ 2.20% basis.
