Mr. Bill Smith J. J. Marino Erie City Iron Works August 24, 1972 I read your July report where Erie City seems to be out of their difficulty on Panelag. The purpose of this note is to request you to talk to Erie City on your next visit about our new non-asbestos insulation, "Panelex". They may or may not be under aity pressure to eliminate asbestos from the materials they use. If they are not then they could continue to use Panelag. If they are, then they should be aware that we have a non-asbestos substitute in castable and block form. If I can be of any assistance please let me know. JJM/sb J. J. Marino
