I w ould su g g e st th a t th e A u stra lia n F e d e ra tio n o f O rg an izatio n s o f th e B lind a t tem pt to fin d a c tu a l ca se s o f b lin d n e ss b ro u g h t about by th e use o f lea d -co n ta in in g p a in ts , and I would v e n tu re to p r e d ic t that- th e y w i l l b e u n ab le to f in d such c a se s i n t h e i r c o u n tr y , w ith th e p o s s ib le e x c e p tio n o f some v e ry r a r e in s ta n c e , w here o th e r fa c to rs have played a lead in g r o le . P re c a u tio n s, o f c o u rse , m ust be e x e rc ise d in th o se e sta b lish m e n ts where le a d p a in ts may b e p e r m itte d to d ry and b e c o n v e rte d o v e r to d u s t.
