He is reported.by his attending physician, Dr. Behrman, to be suffering from lead poisoning. We have on file, however, a report from the company physician, Dr. Matuska, in which he explains having examined the claimant at various intervals without any evidence of lead absorption and that on February 15, 18 and 22 he examined the claimant at home and treated him for an acute respiratory infection. His symptoms at that time were fever and pleurisy at the base ox the left lung, requiring strapping for the relief of pain. The doctor does not consider his present condition to be due to lead poison ing.
We are ref erring the claimant to you fox' an examination and report and will be glad to have, your opinion as to the cause of his present complaint and whether or not his disability is due to lead poison ing. The, claimant's address is 1030 Mound Street, Cincinnati, Ohio,, and we are instructing hire to make an appointment with you.
