I am afraid I can not supply you with any really useful information on the spray residue problem specifically* We are expecting to undertake an Investigation of this problem in the near future, but we have not had an opportunity to begin certain studies which we have planned. On the otter hand we have been studying the intake and output of lead in a rather large section of the American population over a period of years* Some portion of the intake has been due undoubtedly to the contribution made by spray residues, and we have pointed out this fact by comparing certain items of food e&ten by American population with corresponding items consumed by native Mexicans. Unfortunately I can not send you a reprint of this work because my supply is exhausted, but I take pleasure in referring you to the September 1935 number of the Journal of Industrial Hygiene, Volume 15, Hie series of articles which deal with lead absorption and excretion ip a primitive population and in the American population are all that I can contribute to the subject at the moment.
