In case of this method, detergent which is usually used may be also detected -with FC-143. So, we doubt whether this is appropriate method to detect P-143 only. If you have any better analytical method than methylene-blue method, please let us know. Ground water is not utilized for drinking water source near Shimizu works. We have no program to reduce FC-143 level in groundwater. However, we are now remedying soil which is contaminated with ECE by Vacuum-Extract method.
