Estimated Ca3h Requirement3
We are attaching the Estimated Cash Requirements for the East Chicago plant for the six months* period ending September 30th, 1946. A total decrease of $225,035 in cash requirements is shown and accounted for as follows:
Lead Refinery Zinc Oxide Department White Lead Department

The decrease in the Lead Refining Department's cash requirements is due to assuming that we will receive no East Helena bullion during this period.
The increase in the Zinc Oxide Department is due to an increase of electrolytic zinc receipts by 150 tons.
The amount of lead which may be corroded for white lead has been curtailed by an amendment to the lead conservation order, which has resulted in decreasing the lead required by the White Lead Department for this period by 746 tons.
We hope this information will be helpful in studying the attached statements.
