NIMA would defend any specific rebuttals that might occur. *** At the May 23, 1968 NFEA Annual Meeting, it was voted to return the proposal revisions pertaining to fibrous glass duct systems to the Air Conditioning Committee for re-evaluation. **# * In attendance May 23 ** In attendance May 21 and May 23 2 reinforcements N Unless otherwise cpecifisally oojected to, it was agreed to start test ing as soon as practical, in accordance with the "NIMA DUCT SYSTEMS COMMITTEE MINUTES OF TECHNICAL COMMITTEE - J-M RESEARCH St ENGINEERING CENTER - May 7, 1963," as distributed by C. E. Erast. DUCT LINER SPECIFICATION The draft dated May 20, 1968, was reviewed. Tha Specification shall be finalized by June 1, 1968. The final draft shall be given to 0. MacCurdy for suggestions as to its final fora. The specification shall be offered to SMACNA for poasible inclusion in their low pressure annual. . FM PROJECT #1791*8 The draft dated April l, 1963, was reviewed. It vaa agreed to bold the project in abeyance until further testing is concluded. C. E. Ernst is to supervise further calorlaeter and 24 foot fire tests at FM. FEDERAL AIR DUCT SPECIFICATION The specification was reviewed. W. T. Irvin is to circulate the re vised draft to the Committee for consent. HEALTH AND SAFETY Short ten project - The air sasple evaluation taken on a duct system in the P. Cakington House, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is to be obtained froo lettering Laboratories. As soon as they are received, they will be distributed to the Cossittee. Long ten project - The Cossittee desires to aeet with the Health and Safety Cossittee for consultation. OTHER BUSINESS' (a) The Cossittee reviewed a press release to the "Engineering News Record." (b) The next meeting of the Cossittee is scheduled for JUly 23, 1963, in New York, N.Y., at 9:30 A.M. -3(c) Tie Better Heating ano Cooling Council Project is to be coordi nated by W. a. Si LX.
