Dear- Mr- Leu ten :
It was a privilege to see and talk with you about your work, and I sincerely hope that we shall have an opportunity to follow through, on it e n d ;to see what is being done at first hand.
I regret very much-'that neither Dr. Ashe nor I can visit you at o n c e , and it seems very unlikely that either of us can be there in September of this year. .Despite our very acute interest, ve. are both burdened with more Work than ve can do. ana our responsibilities are such 'that we cannot drop what we are doing to look into something else- However, I think you can count on a visit from some member of our Laboratory staff at some time in the not,,too distant future. We. shall certainly be glad to maintain the relations now established and to co-operate with you In-every possible way.
Very truly y curs,
