The reason for this denial is due to the fact that according to our records, the Delaware Valley Medical Center is not a recognized hospital facility; as is specified in your Design for Protection Hospitalization Plan booklet. We have sent an inquiry to the facility on two occasions, December 20, 1979 and February 27, 1980, for verification of their qualifications and have not received a response. Since the facility has failed to respond to our inquiries, we had no alternative but to deny your claim.
