Over 470 education pro- grams spread among 20 ex- ecutive agencies and depart- ments with 69 manpower training and vocational edu- cation programs spread among 9 departments or agencies 112 programs related to pro- viding assistance of direcdtirect rel- rel- evance to the poor spread among HEW and eight other departments or agencies . 43 programs relating to child health and welfare spread among 7 departments and agencies . 74 economic and business de- velopment programs among 10 separate memennts tsments and and agencies agencies spread depart- Representative Roth the article continued concluded that there needs to be a review at the highest levels of the whole structure and direction of the programs grams and activities of the Federal Government 14 To this it can be asked Does anyone recall the findings of the Hoover Commission of some ten or more years ago which made such a review but whose recommendations were never acted upon Anyway perhaps we the people of this great United States of America deserve the Uncle Sap mantle Especially when we let George do it and fail to write our Congressmen and Senators and let them know where our interests lie Did YOU take time to call your Representative and Senator voicing your opposition to the Health and Safety bills now pending in Congress This action is important to us as insulation contractors as businessmen and as plain ordinary Mr. Citizen U.S.A.
