Ready to use after the ad dition of water. Applied with brush or spray equipment. Made with Port land cement and ingredients to pro duce hardness, binding qualities and workability. Colors, resistant to lime and alkali; and may be intermixed. FORM Powder. PRIMING Dampen surface to be painted thor oughly with water. USES Use only over porous masonry sur faces such as concrete, Portland ce ment stucco, concrete and cinder blocks, brick, tile and building stone. CHARACTERISTICS Does not raise fibers in gypsum or insulating types of wallboard. Alkali resistant, helps to bridge hair-line cracks. Dries with uniform sheen with excellent "tooth". Under good drying conditions may be recoated in two hours with alkyd, oleoresinous paints and enamels. Allow overnight drying before recoating with emul sion type paints. SHEETROCK SEALER Ideal emulsion sealer for use over gypsum wallboards having joints treated with finishing cement system. Recommended before application of spirit-thinned paints, on interior wallboard surfaces. Excellent too on in terior plaster surfaces. Especially effective in filling, bridging and seal ing fine hairline cracks sometimes encountered in plastered surfaces. CHARACTERISTICS Seals off impurities such as asphalt or carbon spots, lays nap of the face paper, provides uniformly smooth surface, controls suction and equal izes porosity over gypsum wallboard paper and finishing cement. Provides "tooth" for subsequent coats of paint. Highly pigmented to reveal holidays and facilitate touch-up. FORM Ready to use. PRIMING Not applicable. USES For use over gypsum wallboards having joints treated with joint finishing cement. Excellent on in terior plaster and concrete surfaces, too. May be painted over with latex, casein, resin emulsion, oil stipples, enamels or flat oil paints and is rec ommended for use under wallpaper. TEXOLITE PRIMER A lime (alkali) locking primer for interior walls and ceiling which pro vides "tooth" for succeeding coats of paint and equalizes suction on the surface to be painted. Recommended for practically all interior surfaces, painted or unpainted, that are clean, firm and sound. CHARACTERISTICS Produces a hard, lime-locking prime coat over which oil paints, lacquers, enamels, casein and resin emulsion water-thinned paints may be applied. Reduced to painting consistency with water and may be brushed or sprayed. Not recommended for con crete or gypsum surfaces that are not thoroughly dry. FORM Powder. PRIMING Use rust inhibitive primer on metal surfaces. CHARACTERISTICS Is non-shrinking, contains no lime, has ample working life of about 30 minutes and dries to a hard, dense uniform finish. Add only water in mixing. Applied with either putty knife or brush and may be sanded when dry and hard. Adheres to practically any solid surface that is clean and sound. FORM Powder. PRIMING Takes any standard priming material. USES For filling small cracks, scars, and slight surface imperfections in plas ter, tile or mosaics, and concrete. Fills nicks, cracks, knotholes and nail holes in wood. TEXOLITE PASTE SPACKLING PUTTY An economical, all-purpose putty -- ready to use--for patching or level ing small cracks, knicks, scars in most interior surfaces. Especially fine for hair-line cracks in wood or plaster and smoothing up dry-wall work. CHARACTERISTICS No waste in mixing --use as required direct from can.
