As a result, Tuff-Tex Plastic Tile Flooring was introduced two years ago. and today hundreds of thou sands of square feet of this sturdy, grease-prdof, industrial flooring are serving American facto ries and institutions. Tuff-Tex is a composition of plastic binders, suitable plasticizers, asbestos fibers, and mineral pigments. It is made in a variety of colors and sizes and in three standard thicknesses. It possesses, in addition to extraordinary resist ance to grease and oil, remarkable flexural strength, high resistance to impact, and ability to withstand rolling friction abuse. It has a very dense structure and a smooth, easy to clean surface. Tuff-Tex has been used satisfactorily in as sembly areas, machine shops, locker rooms, cafeterias, rest rooms, recreation rooms, offices adjacent to manufacturing areas, and in ship ping and warehousing spaces.
