We enclose two sample pairs as you required and advised in my telex of 28th June. With regard to prices each mole cloth mitt costs approximately 1 dollar 30 cents and each asbestos mitt just over 1 dollar, but as each man uses 3 asbestos mitts on each hand, one inside the other, there is a considerable cost saving in going over to the mole cloth mitt. Also, because the new mitt is a more distinctive article specially purchased for these two operations the supervisors report that personnel are*/taking more care with them at present and that consumption has fallen. - We trust that your trials will be successful and informative and we would be pleased to hear of your results.
