ATMOSPHERIC ECPOSORE PROCRAM On September 15, 1949, the 95 corrosion lnhlbitlve paints on 1,410 specie :ns at five locations, which coaprise this test, had been exposed for one year. They were all Inspected at that tlfco by neabers of tho Fed Lead Technical Coaaittee ar.d the technical direc tor of the Division. This ctrly Inspection already shows a general superiority of the red lead base points over those based on other corrosion inhibitive plgncnts. A brochure describing this project In detail has been prepared and Is now in galley proof fora. It vill be circulated In the next fow weeks to between 10,000 and 15,000 users, specifier* and aanofacturers of corrosion lnhlbltlve paints. It will be followed before the year end by e first progress report giving the results of the Inspections made this fall after one year's exposure.
