Minutes of the November 10, 1965 meeting were approved as distributed. 2. Threshold Limit Values The Chairman briefly reviewed the discussions which took place at the Committee's November 10 meeting. A statement entitled "The Significance of Threshold Limit Values to the Chemical industry", prepared by the committee and forwarded to the MCA President, will be submitted to the MCA Board of Directors for endorsement and subsequent circulation to MCA member companies. This recommendation had been submitted to the Safety and Fire Protection Committee which had resolved to prepare a sheet on "organo - phosphates. '* The Medical Advisory Committee resolved to recommend against this proposal since there are a number of excellent ccmpany publi cations available. Hydrogen Peroxide It was agreed that Dr. Haslam and Dr. Stopps would review the medical sections of the draft prepared for a combined safety data sheet on the various strengths of hydrogen peroxide. 6. First Aid for Acid Burns The committee discussed a request for advice as to a low freezing-point liquid which could be used by truck drivers and others to treat acid exposures in transportation mishaps when water is not available. The chairman agreed to respond to the request. 7. Next Meeting The next meeting will be held at the Chemists' Club, New York City, on June 21, 1966. Minutes subject to approval FGS:cm CMA 012798
