The background color is yellow with black lettering. You may want to consider a different color combination to highlight cover goggle requirements since yellow and black are vised for other types of warning. Permanent signs at eye elevation should be installed." The 1981 SHAC Committee agrees that signs at eye level should be used in conjunction with the yellow markings and low level signs or lettering. The Committee did not agree that the yellow color for marking boundaries should be changed. Yellow is used as a highlight to call attention to something that should be noticed in the Texas City plant. To change color would be confusing. If SAC agrees, the 1981 SHAC Committee recommends that a SHAC alert be issued asking the units to re heck their cover goggle areas to determine if signs at eye level would improve the warning for their cover goggle areas.
