Dated on the oil absorption, it appeart that Femolith 1*0~ would
be closer in body to Suaolith Hig Opaoity, fa hare now made paints 00apsrlne the prope-tles of Simolith High Opaoity and rwmollth 2QL, l*0i" and 1-320 in a flat wall paint formula containing 750# of lithopone per 100 bal lons. This is a substantial quanlty of lithopone and oertainly should bring out differences in properties.
The results very definitely Indicate that froa a standpoint of oolor in paint and hiding pow r, both 201. and 1*CM are equal, if not slight ly superior to Siaolith High Opaoity, Suaolith High Opaoity shows higher low-angular sheen than either the 201. or l*GM, and definitely hig! ar than fl-320. Likawise, both the 20L and 1*0M, as well as V-320 show equal or high er bri -htnesa than Swollth High Opaoity, aa date mined ty the Refleotonieter. There appears to be no appreciable difference in the visual gloss at high anrle of incident. Results are tabulated below in the flat wall paint form ula containing 750# of lithopone per 100 gallons
