Sanborn visited the Dexxon, Inc. oil and gas facility located near Hominy, Oklahoma on 02/25/2020 for an unannounced inspection. There were no representatives of Dexxon, Inc. present for the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. FACILITY DESCRIPTION This facility was located on the Big Eagle Lease and is known as the Sundown Unit. This facility was a tank battery with a deep pit. Section II - OBSERVATIONS I observed that the facility pit had been pumped down prior to the inspection. I saw oil staining and minor free oil in the bottom of the pit. I observed a sump pump was present at the facility. There was not a net over the pit and the pit was not lined during the inspection. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN There were fluids inside the secondary containment, including oil and produced water. Section IV - FOLLOW UP EPA water enforcement will refer this facility to EPA Region 6 SPCC program. Section V - LIST OF APPENDICES N/A 2
