She said she called earlier to tell us that she had spoken to a Dalton Philbott at 566-8624, who was one of John's bosses, who can describe how John was exposed to VCM and also has an opinion that VCM was delivered to Monsanto by Tenneco Chemicals, Inc. and Firestone. Louise may have the names wrong, or Philbott may be mixed up, or maybe there's something to it. Please call him and report to me on the results. Likewise, she spoke to an Ed Scully, who was his foreman from 1963 to 1965 and can describe how he was exposed to VCM. Please call him and see what he has to say. Louise is making arrangements to come in and sign the corrections to the deposition and to sign dismissing Conaco and Union Carbide. She is concerned about the so-called "green book" which shows where VCM was being used; that is, what companies were manufacturing PVC, apparently. That's where she is getting the names of some of these companies, I believe. Would you check out that book and see if there's anything in it that's useful.
