Good afternoon, Ryan. I trust you had a nice weekend.
I wanted to circle back with you regarding our meeting request for next week.
Do you know the availability of the Administrator and if our CEO and other executives will be able to meet?
Thank you,

Hi Ryan,

ED_001523_00000630-00001
I hope you are doing well, and settling into your new role. I was glad to work with you during your time in the Senate, and look forward to continuing our work together.
I am writing to respectfully request a meeting for our CEO, Russ Chaney, with Administrator Pruitt the week of October 16. Our CEO, and other executives, will be in town that week for meetings with several members of Congress and leaders in the new Administration. Due to the fact that IAPMO has been a long-standing partner with the EPA on a numbers of water-related issues and initiatives, we would appreciate the opportunity to have a discussion with Administrator Pruitt to highlight a few challenges and opportunities that those of us who are working on the demand-side of the water supply are seeing.
A little background on IAPMO, and as you may recall from our previous meetings, we are a nearly 100-year-old trade association representing a significant portion of the plumbing industry. We have long established relationships with local, state and federal government officials to protect their water and sanitation services by creating plumbing standards and construction codes that meet stringent requirements for safety and sustainability. Additionally, and something you may be more familiar with, we are the largest third-party testing and certification laboratory for the plumbing industry. In short, we test and certify over 98% of the entire plumbing market in United States -- working closely with manufacturers, architects, engineers, and building owners to test products that are being installed and utilized in the United States.
We look forward to hearing from you, and are happy to answer any questions you may have as you consider this request.
Thank you!
