May 29, 2970 A meeting of the members of the Health & Safety Council of the Asbestos Cement Products Association was held pursuant to notice at the Biltmore Hotel In New York, N. Gypsum Company Bums & Van Kirk The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. James A. Main. The minutes of the meeting of the Council held on February 17, 2970 were submitted for approval. Mr. Main stated a correction should be made to the last paragraph on page 3. The sentence reading "Whereas the current 19&9 standards are 5 million particles per cubic foot. . should be corrected to read. "Whereas current 2969 standards are 22 fibers/ml of 5 microns in length (as counted by the mem brane filter method at 430X magnification) or 2 million particles per cubic foot (as counted by the standard impinger method) proposed (ACGIH) limits are 5 fiber^ml determined by the membrane filter method."
