Purchase order 2278-5-11 with Ingersol1-Rand, Ingersol1-Rand has not found the motor and either Ingersol1-Rand or Koppers will come up with a replacement. We expect to have this settled on May 23 or Mfcy 24. 2. Metal Products purchase order 390-4-11A Is still promised for shipment June 26. ' 3. Metal Products purchase order 2267-9-11, the balance of five (5) castings were picked up by the Swissvale truck on May 17, 1974, at New Castle Foundry and delivered to the jobsite. 4. Wise Machine purchase order 2267-3-11 for the sliding curtain mechanism: A. Miscellaneous materials were promised for shipment from Wise on May 24 -- It Is our opinion that Wise is optimistic and this material will actually ship the week of May 28. B. The hoist ordered by Wise was scheduled for shipment out of Detroit on July 12, 1974 - this promise has been Improved to June 14, 1974. Hunter Sales purchase order 275-6-322 for 1970 gaskets were shipped to Pittsburgh by UPS and reshipped via air from Pittsburgh on May 21, 1974. 12. Industrial Sealing Devices purchase order 381-1-31, sheet 3. Two (2) gaskets were shipped on May 21 via air. 13. Homestead Valve purchase order 299-9-382, sheet 2 - material was shipped May 16 via air. 14. Lenton Industries purchase order 2267-9-41; the stainless steel protection plates were picked up by Koppers truck on May 17. 15. Regarding the.additional Items which we mention In our May 17, 1974, letter as being.forthcoming: A. Concerning.the revisions to the three (3) stills, a work letter was promised May 20 -- the work letter has not been received and drawings have not. been checked. Branch 4 has an order placed for replacement material ft* / down to the first tray (approx. 4 ft. 7-1/2"). As of May 23, AM we understand that the corrosion, is beyond the above point and we do not know, at this time, where the requirement stands for this still and the other two (2). B. On the 5,440 ft. of cable, approval has been obtained from the customer for a substitute material and Sargent has repurchased 3,000 ft. from stock in Los Angeles and 3,000 ft. from stock in Philadelphia on May 22. 17. A new item was given to Purchasing on 2:00 PM, May 22. Inland was to order three (3). Westinghouse switches, type W2, 20 Amp., 600 Volts. They nave been unable to obtain a satisfactory delivery and have requested Koppers to find. Branch 3 is working on this now. Inqersol1-Rand P.0. 2278-5-11. The new motor was shipped on May 31 from Ingersol1-Rand. 2. Metal Products P.0. 390-4-11A was promised for shipment June 26. It is now promised for June 10. 4. Wise Machine P.0. 2267-3-11 for sliding curtain mechanism: B. The hoist ordered by Wise previously scheduled for shipment out of Detroit, July 12, tnen improved to June 14 is still promised for June 14. 6. Hall Industries P.0. 299-9-13 for an additional 45 jet nozzles was promised for Shipment May 31. These items were inspected on June 3 and out of the 45, one (1) was rejected. The 44 wi11 be shipped by air and a promise determined for the rejected item. These additional nozzles are replacements to Inland spares and do not affect charging. 7. Replacement Couplings: A. The two (2) 1/2" promised for shipment June 3 were shipped on May 30. B. The two (2) #l's promised for June 3 are being checked for confirmation that shipment went forward as promised. C. The Venturi scrubber pump coupling definitely has to be replaced and is promised for shipment June 26. The other two (2) stills are still up in the air. B. The 5,000 ft. of cable was being hy-pot tested on June 3, 1974, at Calumet Supply. The 1,450 ft. reported shipped from California by Calumet was actually shipped from Texas and being, ttraced. R. Beale will develop a full story on this item today, June 4. 17. The three (3) Westlnghouse switches which were Inland supplyjbased on Clyde Richmond's instructions, the switches, which were located by inland-, have been installed, checked, and working okay.
