With time, we learn better how to refine our reporting of results from monitoring. I am interested in the sample no. 299 for personal monitoring. It is noted that the employee wore a pocket respirator by the designation of "R" under respiratory protection. Further, it is "as required."
Question: Was the man wearing a respirator when the VCM release occurred? I thought that all sample bombs would be opened only
in a laboratory hood. The work practice guideline calls for this to be done. Did the employee violate the work practices? Uo you still use the pocket respirator for VCM potential exposures as implied in this report?___lU^the man been notified in writing-- an overexposure?
