Readout of Julian day, sample point number and VC concen tration is printed on Digi tec printer located below programmer in control box. The Julian day of year is set manually by means of thumbwheel switches located atop program control unit. For continuous operation fuel (hydrogen) and air must be provided for the flame detector. Also carrier gas (nitrogen) is required. These gas cylinders of each type are manifolded together so that empty cylinders can be changed without shutting down analyzer. These should be provided and changed by you before the pressure drops below 150-100 psig. Analyzer repairs will take care of standard gas cylinders and calibration of the analyzer. The hydrogen and nitrogen gases should be zero grade. An alarm panel is located on loading rack for visual and audible indication of VC concentrations above 5 PPM. A flashing red light indicate^ sample point in alarm condition and the horn sounds. The light flashep 'zntil acknowledged, then stays lit until the point clears (back to normal). The horn quiets. Un attended the alarm light flashes until point clears and the hern continues to sound. verify that the hydrogen flame is lit, hold safety glasses under vent on analyzer cabinet, glass will fog if flame is lit.
